Dieter L. Pape, CEO

Dieter L. Pape has been Chief Executive Officer of NABC since July 2003. Mr. Pape has a diverse career background working in many different industries from retail, computer services, and telemarketing to food manufacturing and distributing. Before working for NABC as Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Pape was employed with Morey’s Seafood International, LLC from 1999 to 2002 as President and Chief Executive Officer. Previously at IC System, Inc. from 1986 to 1999 as Executive Vice President where he built teams and led turnarounds in both companies using marketing efforts. In addition, Mr. Pape has also started 2 companies, one in product design, development, manufacturing and marketing and one Applications Service Provider (ASP) and was a General Manager at Carlson Companies where the team built a successful direct marketing company. Mr. Pape started his career at Dayton-Hudson (now the Target Corporation) from 1973 to 1975 where he worked in the retail industry negotiating strategic alliances with suppliers after receiving his MBA from Michigan State University. He is currently working on his doctorate degree at the University of Minnesota.
