Dr. Greg Lardy

Dr. Greg Lardy was raised on a commercial cow calf operation near Sentinel Butte, North Dakota. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree from NDSU in 1991, his Master of Science from the University of Missouri in 1993, and his Ph.D. in Animal Science from the University of Nebraska in 1997. Since 1997, he has held a 60 percent Extension/40 percent Research appointment at NDSU in the Department of Animal and Range Sciences. He serves as the state beef cattle extension specialist with programming efforts focused on serving the needs of the beef industry in North Dakota, focusing primarily on the cow-calf and feedlot sectors. Dr. Lardy has worked with the NDSU Beef Systems Center of Excellence since its inception.
